Hi,
sometime ago I downloaded the rkhunter-1.4.4 tarball from SourceForge
and installed it on openSuse leap 15.0. I usually extract it in the
downloads folder and install it from there, using the command
#./installer.sh --install But a whim hit me, and I moved the extracted
file to

Hi,

linux instalations are fresh installs.
When I ran rkhunter -c

One of the replies that I received said that I should use a different

-c --sk and came up with multiple file warnings, including that there was a
key logger installed. I had no indications of a rootkit, and I subsequently ran
chkrootkit and it also found no rootkits. I am running
Hi,
I have used rkhunter for some time, I am currently on version 1.3.2. I
receive this warning after installation:
Checking if SSH root access is allowed [ Warning ]
I modify the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file to the following:
PermitRootLogin no
And I have restarted the sshd
Hi,
I am wondering if there have been any updates to rkhunter 1.3.0. I
haven't received any since I installed the updated version, so I am
wondering if there is something wrong with my installation. When I run
rkhunter --update, I have received the following for a few weeks:
Checking file
Hi,
I started out using rkhunter version 1.2.8, then upgraded to 1.2.9 a few
weeks ago. I wasn't able to get 1.2.9 to update after I installed it,
but it would check for rootkits. I read that 1.3.0 was do to come out
in a couple of weeks, so I decided to wait and see if upgrading to 1.3.0
