Hi Thomas,
So Intel i7-4790S doesn't seem fast enough then ;).
Is there already an issue on github?
If not could you create one? https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues
This would make tracking this issue easier for us.

Which Version of liblognorm is installed?
For rsyslog 8.17 we need newer version V1.1.3.
Packages for Ubuntu, Redhat and Debian are up to date in our repositories.

It isn't built anymore because rsyslog-gnutls package is obsolete. The

You are right, the component has moved into the RSyslog base package in
RSyslog v8 stable. RSyslog V7 Stable still has the package.
I am going to look into this.

Where did you get the 8.2.0 packages? V8-Stable should be at 8.2.2.
rsyslog-gnutls does not exist in 8.2.2 anymore.

results from this.
However for some reason, this wasn’t done in all branches and for all
Ubuntu dists.
So the easiest solution in my opinion is, to remove the rsyslog-gnutls
package from the other branches/dists.

Isn't it possible to sync our repositories using http protocol?
I would prefer to using http protocol to pull the data from our
repositories.

I believe you are trying to compile the master branch which depends on the
not finished 1.1.2 librelp version also available from our git:
http://git.adiscon.com/?p=librelp.git;a=summary
Get librelp from our git master branch, compile it, it will be version
1.1.2.

Building Ubuntu Packages always takes a little longer than RPMs ;)
The packages have been updated now to 7.5.1

Hi,
Sorry for the trouble, the packages got lost while changing my package
scripts.
The missing packages should be available now.

Hi,
I am going to rebuild these packages.
This error happens from time to time when I create packages for Ubuntu

Packages have been updated once again, the mismatch problem should be gone
now.
I think I found the reason why this happened now ;).

You can get a full list of packages by "apt-cache search rsyslog".
I will have the documentation updated, there should be the same packages
as we have in the rpm repository.

Andre

Hi Gene,
would it be possible to get a full debuglog?
I also would like to create a bug on our bugzilla and track the progress
there.
My first guess is that there may be a problem with new and old relp
receiver and senders.
