configured RTFM and using this for canned replies.
Works a treat and no impact on performance.

Thank you - have done all of this already.
Just checked the DNS Servers we use and it seems our ISP had not informed us
of a change to the DNS address.
Made a change to /etc/resolve.conf
added the new DNS server address and hey presto !!!
