Facts? What facts. I posted a court document on the
case and you posted a self serving website.
You posted _ONE_ court document, asswipe. I posted a
link to website that contained links to at least _100_
legal documents pertaining to the same case, dickhead!
If you'd have spent a few minutes navigating the
website, you would know that.
If you care to read the courts findings then you'd see
that all is not what it seems!
While you're passing out advice, give yoreslef a big

when you have to get to attacking vulgar comments to
TRY and convey your point. Seems quite juvenile.
Idiots make me cuss.
Your post in regards to the website didn't bother me
at all but your vulgar response to my posting of a
court document was out of line.
Oh! Now you're offended! Welcome to the real world,
dipshit.
Hmmm, from the vulgarity it didn't sit well with you
 having some REAL FACTS!
How would you know? I cuss when I'm happy, too.
Thank you for knowing my home and not passing

turmoil. Most people know none of the facts of this case. Only bits and

followed this very closely and feel that this woman would truly want to go
peacefully. First most don't know how she became brain dead! She got this
way from her eating dis-order. She was so vain about her vanity that she was
starving herself to maintain her appearance. Thus, causing her breathing to
stop and lastly her brain damage. Secondly, who would want to lead an
existance (not a life) that you were nothing but incoherent veg? Not me!

What really disturbs me about this case is a family that has had 15 years to
prove Terry has brain activity, wanted to live or could have expert testify
that she would get better with therapy. Now at the eleventh hour they have
manipulated or State Government to circumvent the 15 years the courts have
deliberated this. Even our State Supreme Court. Now it seems that they have
even tried to get our Congress involved and thank goodness the courts aren'

Surely you people are not advocating that this poor woman be left in a
hospital bed for another 15 years. Her parents are the one that should be
shot. It's shameful. She should have been allowed to die a long time ago
with just a little shred of dignity left. How many of you would really
want this type of survival? How many of you would want your parents to see
you like that for 15 years? How about your children? Why do we feel the
need to torture humans when we euthanize animals?

Mike - I had not heard about this till I read your post. I just got home.
This is sick and it apparently took place about 60 miles from my house. I
really hoped this girl would turn up somehow. I just don't get it.
You're right, Judge Greer, George Felos, and Michael Shiavo will someday
have to answer for their deeds, but none of that helps Terri today. If she
expressed a wish to die in this situation, why did it take him so long to
come forward with that information? It doesn't hurt anyone for her to be
allowed to live, why kill her?

Will any RTF'er in Florida please kill this man? A very slow and

While you are at it, Judge George Greer needs a good old fashioned

RE: [RollTideFan] Double Sad News Day InFlorida...[Fwd:FNCAlert](non-Bama)

2005-03-20 Thread Richard Reeves
” and “right to die” rhetoric. The real questions is;
if Terri is allowed to starve to death now, will Michael simply be allowed
to finish what he started 15 years ago? I think this needs further
investigation before any action is taken by Schiavo but that was done
yesterday. It wasn’t the first time the feeding tube has been removed, it’s
the third. Late last year the tube was removed for six days before it was
re-inserted. There may be a repeat of this on Monday when the current
regular judge returns to his court.

Whether Terri lives or dies will make little difference to her. Her life
ended that night 15 years ago and will never be recovered. They say she is
“brain dead” but that’s not the case, she is only half brain dead. All of
her autonomic functions are working but her cerebral cortex is dead which
is
the area of the brain that deals with conscious thought and memory. She
swallows her own saliva but doesn’t seem to be aware of food or water in
her
mouth and rarely swallows it. She lives in a dream state with occasional
moments of lucidness when disturbed. She awakes and responds to stimulus
but
has no idea of where she is or what is going on. At times she tries to
speak
but can get no further than the first word on occasions.

While being visited by her family and their attorney, she was told “Terri,
if you can just say ‘I want to live‘, this will all be over“, according to
a
close relative being interviewed on the Sean Hannity Show. Terri’s response
was “I waaa”. He said she then continued yelling
“waa” until the attendants came in to see what was
wrong.

Did she really know what she was trying to say? Was she just mocking what
she had heard like a parrot? Or was she trying to say “I want to die”?
We’ll
never know. If it was me, I would not want to live like that, would you?
It’
s not a life, it’s not living. Brain cells do not regenerate, once they
die,
they are gone for good. Terri will never recover from this. We have heard
reports of a woman who, after a head injury, was in a coma for 20 years,
then suddenly woke up. At times, her condition was very much like Terri’s
with apparent moments of consciousness but she was not there. One day she
just came out of it and now lives a normal life. The difference is that
half
her brain did not die, but rather was in shock for all that time. In Terri
Schiavo’s case, the brain cells are dead and will never work again. What
the
world needs to know now is what part Michael Schiavo played in Terri’s
condition, if any.

But if it is as her family has stated, she will have eternal life. I never
said this was a red/blue state thing. This could be a personal political
agenda but, the fact remains she has been proven to be Terminal. How long
do you wait? So, we shouldn't trust the husband? Who do we trust? Where has
Mom and Dad been to contribute to her medical care? Yet, they have the funds
to fight for her. I have tried and tried again to see where my faith would
lead me and it seems time and time again it shows me. If this were me, what

I don't remember anybody ever insinuating that he had relations with other
women prior to her going into this state. Maybe it's in that essay
somewhere, but even if it is, it is not material to the subject. It makes
no
difference.

I also don't totally understand this idea that people are politicizing this
for their agenda. I just don't buy into that. I know a lot of people from
all across the political spectrum and their opinions on this subject
definitely do not fall along red state/blue state lines. I just don't see
it
at all.

Whether there are holes in this essay or not is not the question. It was
apparently written by a guy who shares your opinion, but he has brought up
a
lot of interesting points and it was presented here for that purpose only.

I just simply never want to err on a side that is irreversable and there is
nothing more irreversable than death. If a court wrongly convicts and
imprisons an innocent person, then his time in jail can never be returned
to
him, but his freedom henceforth can. There are a lot of questions that need
to be answered, and what it boils down to in my opinion, is that due to the
actions of the husband, we cannot trust his word, therefore we have to make
assumptions. As I said earlier, I would never assume something that is
irreversible.

Well Tim,

There are quite a few holes in this essay. This is
exactly what I
was talking about? There are people spreading things in regards to
this case
that are half truths or out it out lies. First, it has been proven that
he
did not have relations with other women until she was in her veg. state.
Second, the court experts ruled that her veg state was due to her heart
stopping and the lack of oxygen being supplied to her brain. The cases
of
abuse have been gone through by the courts and have been proven no such
abuse has occurred. So, where do we go from here? I can say that
most people
that I have talked to say that they would not want to be kept
alive by these
means. I myself am included. Her parents have recently stated that she is
being abused and mistreated by hospice. In order for hospice to
accept you,
you have to be diagnosed as Terminal. These reports have also been
found
out to be false. I have come to believe that the parents will say and do
whatever it takes to keep Terri alive. Even Lie! I feel for both of them
but, I have not heard the Husband say one bad thing about her parents.
For
15 years her parents could have paid for her medical treatment. Have
they?
No! The citizens of the state of Florida and her Husband have been doing
that. I feel for both of them but, I feel that Terri would not want to be
kept like she is in her current condition. What is life. She has no brain
activity, she doesn't feel pain and now there are propagand being spred
through the news she spoke up and didn't want her feeding tube pulled.
Please, give me a break. The woman hasn't said it on either of the first
2
attempts the tube was removed. So, why now? Because, here is
someone trying
to push there own agenda. Let this woman rest in piece! She has

Life Through A Tube?

by Techniguy 03-19-2005

For the past week now, the news and talk media have
been dominated daily,
with one or two exceptions, by one story; the removal
of Terri Schiavo's
feeding tube. With the information being presented by
the media, I found
myself at odds with the mainstream Republicans and the
view of the
Conservatives who have taken this issue all the way to
the Superior count
and the President of the United States. I have always
believed that it's
just wrong to keep someone alive with artificial means
when their time has
come to go whether it's by natural causes or
artificial. I still believe
that but there were questions in the Schiavo case that
needed answering.

The media turned this into a circus of ideological and
moral issues with
views from both sides of the question, but really
hadn't given us enough
information to understand what is really going on. All
we really knew was
that Terri was in a vegetative state with irreversible
brain damage
resulting from a heart attack 15 years ago and her
husband, Michael Schiavo
wants the feeding tube removed as it was Terri's wish,
or so he says. There
have been plenty of discussions regarding the legal
issues involved, and who
is right and who is wrong, but we've learned little
more from them.

I have been thinking about writing this article for a
couple of days now
which I knew would be controversial with most of my
readers, but the way I
saw it, no one would want to be kept alive in Terri's
condition, and as her
Husband, Michael is really the only person who has the
legal right to decide
the issue. It was bad enough that Terri's parents, Bob
and Mary Schindler,
had been waging a seven year court battle to fight
against

Joe,

Don't you know that some people have nothing better to do than be a monday

not something the press dreams up. Cause we all know the press would never

The intel was faulty because Clinton tied the CIA's hands by disallowing
our
operatives to recruit people who were unsavory types, or bad guys. So
our
team was running a marathon with their shoe laces tied.

I truly hope you utilized copy\paste for that stuff below. For someone
to
have thought about it and typed it, clearly shows that the author indeed
 does believe his\her musings.

As pointed out in many news articles of late, the President (Doesn't
matter
what party he belongs to) was acting on intelligence provided by our
military and other governmental agencies. If, as Mrs. Rice has recently
stated, the intelligence was flawed, the main concern now should be to
find
out why the intel was faulty and what needs to be done to correct it.
Several articles and comments {In all kinds of ways, both subtle and
major, the fact that the White House knew what answer it wanted from the
intelligence community had a very large effect on the way the
intelligence
community presented information, says Greg Thielmann, who retired as
the
director of the strategic intelligence office at the State Department's
Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR) in October 2002. } seem to
suggest
that the US wanted to oust SH, but we needed a particular reason to do
so.
By spreading propaganda about the imminent threat from Iraq's WMD, the
government made its case in a way that few American's would be willing
to
argue against. Please ignore the blatant lie Bush used in his speech
when
he
declared Iraq was buying (attempting to buy?) uranium from Nigeria. So
the
war was on and now its over. (please see the Top Gun plane ride to the
aircraft carrier for details.) The US is in a bit of a hurt if WMD are
not
found. Of course we are not in a bit of a hurt if you choose to ignore
the
#1 reason as to why the war was launched: WMD. We can always look back
and
say that WMD were never found, but at least the world knows we're not
afraid
to launch an attack on any country we deem 'might' have WMD.
Excuse me..North Korea on Line 1

Here's something to consider: Here it is, election year...

Also, when we all were born, before our skulls hardened,
we were implanted with GPS devices, so the Government can
 track us whereever we go.

It's also a secret control device. At the right time,
they'll activate them all and we will be under their
 control.

 Here's something else to consider...

Microsoft was founded in 1975. Who was running for
President then... Ronald Reagan. That's when it all
began. They didn't win that year, but they made a pact,
Gates would build up Microsoft and then after he
infiltrated all the homes and businesses, he would then
help the Government monitor all it's people.

Think about it. When did Microsoft really take off, in
the 1980's. Who was president then, Ronald Reagan. Why
did IBM go to a pimple face kid to get it's operating
system? Was it because of his technical ability?
Obviously not. Why did IBM stupidly agree to let Gates
keep the rights to MS-DOS? The Government sent IBM to
Gates, and forced them to allow him to keep MS-DOS.
All so they could build up Microsoft to be the source
of all information for the Government.

Why call the next version Windows? Obviously so the
Government would have a window into your life!

But this was all part of the master plan to get George
 W. Bush elected president. Doesn't it seem funny that
Reagan made the pact, built up Microsoft, and then who
do we have for President now but the son of Reagan's
 second in command.

All along we've been worried about big oil. It really
 been big byte!

They waited, and waited, and waited. All along collecting
all kinds of information about you from your computer and
sending it to Microsoft who then fowarded

[RollTideFan] NCAA Investigation

2004-01-20 Thread Richard Reeves
You know, if even partial of the allegations that were used to bring Alabama
down are found to be false? What does this do to the NCAA? I think it
severely jeopardizes there authority and could have the FED's investigating
them. Of which I think has been a long time coming. There are a few
Universities that seem to be able to get away with violations no matter
what. Sure seems to me that the NCAA has shown favoritism and partiality to
those in there inner circle. This should be very interesting when it all
comes out. From what we have seen lately? The NCAA has definitely over
stepped their boundaries.

are a few Universities that seem to be able to get away with violations no
matter what. Sure seems to me that the NCAA has shown favoritism and
partiality to those in there inner circle. This should be very interesting
when it all comes out. From what we have seen lately? The NCAA has
definitely over stepped their boundaries.

It should get very interesting as we move forwardhere is an intriguing

If you will indulge me for a few moments, I would like to “speculate” and
give you my “predictions” as to the final shake out of the Cottrell/NCAA
litigation.

I believe you will soon discover a great deal more evidence as to the
railroading performed by the NCAA against Alabama as planned by some high
ups in the SEC, UT, and some UT boosters combined with a few NCAA people
desiring to accomplish two things: One get Alabama and two protect UT.

I’m predicting we will soon see evidence against the SEC office who sold
Alabama down the river and actually participated in the Memphis setup.
Interestingly, the SEC knew of Means, the supposed “money needed to sign”
and did NOTHING to warn its members with the exception of UT. I’m no
attorney but it would seem to this layman that the SEC at the least
committed a failure of its fiduciary and moral responsibility to one of its
members causing easily defined monetary losses.

I’m absolutely predicting Cottrell/Williams will be find innocent of all
findings of the NCAA and that the NCAA will have to belly-up quite a
retirement package. Don’t any of you sit around and think this is going to
be a quick settlement. LY’s defense team is digging up more dirt than a
national road crew and each little rock over turned is adding to the
Cottrell settlement. No only that, it is also opening up some major deep
pockets other than the NCAA which probably have to shell out cash in the
end.

Some people are going to have more than a civil suit against them, to
threaten jail time and IRS audits is a major “no-no” and will become even
more of a problem when the other lawsuits are filed. Yes, you will see
several more being filed shortly.

Speaking of the NCAA, it roll over time baby on UT. Just think. The NCAA
will “have to” take notice to the recently revealed letters, tapes and
memo’s along with educational issues, wires and paid players. My projection
is the NCAA will hit UT with LOIC, will have to disassociate several
boosters, PF will be canned and the loss of scholarships will be in the
15-20 range. Any lip from UT and one should think of SMU. PF’s little
“get out of jail” card is going to be a death nail to UT in my opinion.

What will UT do when their partner, the NCAA, begins rolling on them?
Nothing, they will want to take this medicine as fast as possible to negate
any further digging again think of SMU.

As for additional lawsuits coming, think of LY and just all he has been hit
between the eyes. His little Memphis problem will in my opinion become a
gold mine for him shortly. Two coaches admitted to charges, both lying so
much they cannot be believed, and you have to wonder why? Somebody has
something on you may be the answer. Something bigger than the greatest
possible time they could serve with the present charges. This danger goes
away when the truth comes rolling in as some very smart people continue to
put the pieces together. Here is a gut feeling, the feds sense something
about the LY issue and it is not necessarily just a focus on LY. There is
blood in the water and this is why formal charges, hearings and closure
have not come about. I will bet you there are seven or eight very
uncomfortable people in Tennessee on both ends of the state and in the
middle today wishing all of this had not been put together.

A secret witness, my prediction is TC will soon start singing a very
revealing song. Don’t think he doesn’t have a few special cards to play
just before he gets flattened. PF may have a tape but I bet TC has
something on PF. Here is another gut feeling, a few more depositions will
reveal a surprising SW number three which only a few have thought would be
possible. Stay tuned and I just

WOW! Now that would make the Big12 South very interesting (if SOS landed at
UT). Stoops vs Spurrier every year would be some good football. Franny
would definitely be a non-factor... which may be the case no matter who
coaches at UT. Franny has dug himslef into a hole that I believe will take

If I were the Husker AD, I'd take a long look at the coach from Utah or

Kines' defense is pathetic, but it's just as sad when the fucking offense

I will get to hear all the BS from the USF fans this week because of their
demise during the second half and it will have nothing to do with OUR
defense shutting them down and OUR offense putting points on the board.
Sure they had me a little concerned during the first half but, after I seen
the rally at the end of the half to square things up. I was put at ease a
little more. CMS and the coaching staff did a fantastic job at getting the
TEAM re-focused on the task at hand. Can't wait to see how we perform
against OU next weekend. I watched their game against North Texas and really
wasn't impressed at all. They seemed very boring and lackluster. From what I
seen of their opponent, they should have BLOWN them away. I feel this is
time for redemption, for a game we gave away last year. Alabama 31 OU 13

That's the same thing that was said about FCMP.

Leavitt is more cheerleader, than coach.

Changing subjects...

For the Love Of God! If I didn't know better, I would
swear USF was the team on probation and decimated by
scholarship reductions. All the ESPN guys wanted to do
was make excuses for USF by talking about their lack
of depth. By my count, only 51 BAMA players saw action
yesterday. Three of them (Castille, Le'Ron McClain,
Terrance Jones) were True Freshmen.
Something wasn't right about those USF boys. They
haven't been eating right, or staying out at night
drinking all Summer...or both. Them sumbeeches were
dropping like they didn't have a speck of potassium in
their bodies. I don't believe I have ever seen so many
players hit the deck with cramps in one game at any
level.
Last thing...I was very pleased with BAMA's clock
management and low number of penalties. Only 5
penalties for 29 yards is OUT-DAMN-STANDING! Those boys
had their heads in the game. Remember all the damn
penalties we used to get under Franholio DumBozo?

2003-08-30 Thread Richard Reeves
AMEN!

I ahppen to live about 45 min for the University of South Florida too and I
have been listening to the local chatter about how they feel South Florida
is going to win the game. They believe that CMS hasn't had enough time to
get the team prepared and they also believe he is going to be the
proto-typical ball control Alabama Coach. They base this on his years as OC
for the Bucs. What they fail to realize, when he was OC for the Bucs? Dungee
made him be conservative. I feel with BC and SW and our O line. We are ready
to light up the skies. So lets PLAY SOME FOOTBALL! ROLL TIDE ROLL!

I feel that CMS will bring a chapter to Alabama Football we have never seen
before. I think he will be more of an angles Coach. What I mean, is just
when you think you have him figures out.? He'll come at you from a different
angle. You'll think he's going to pass when, really he's going to run and
you'll think he's going to run and he gives you the quick slant. He's a
quarterback. What do quarterbacks like to do? Throw the ball!

I am READY! Whish I could be there for the GAME. I used to live in Alabaster

Re: [RollTideFan] Quit making excuses

2003-07-29 Thread Richard Reeves
It seems funny that every time a Black candidate doesn't get a position, it
equates to racism? Football, and Basketball are made mostly of athletes that
are Black! compared this to the the percentage the Black race makes up in
our population? They would see, that this is horribly skewed in the favor of
the Blacks. So, do we start screaming for quota's ourselves? Why not? I find
it hard to believe that whites are not as good an athletes as blacks! I
think that the blacks have been labeled that they are better, thus the white
athlete gets passed over. I have seen many white athletes that are very
qualified to compete on any level. Hell, I have seen many blacks that still
get the opportunity to compete, even if they really can't! Seems the race
issue needs to be put to bed cause it is getting old and worn out! I bet
that MLK would roll over in his grave, seeing what a mockery has been made
of his Civil Rights Movement?

Many of you that visit other boards have probably seen this SI article, but
for those that haven't, hold on to your hats, Sly speaks his mind...

snip
Croom interviewed at his alma mater in the offseason after Alabama dumped
Mike Price, but the Tide went with Mike Shula instead, leaving the
Southeastern Conference as the one major conference never to have a black
football coach.

Croom didn't want to discuss the race issue at the time, but he's willing
to now.

It's time for them to quit making excuses and go ahead and take care of
business, he said.

And hire a black head football coach in the SEC.

I have a real problem there. A lot of those schools, guys are good enough
to play for them, good enough to be assistant coaches and not good enough
to be in the positions of decision making and the positions of high
financial reward, Croom said. And they're qualified.

Alabama athletic director Mal Moore said race was never a factor in his
search to replace Price.

Croom said he believes it was.

Legal remedies like you mentioned don't really aplly in their world. I'd
love nothing more than for them to be fair, honest , and forthright.
Howver, it isn't goign to happen regardless of how much they are sued.

You think hospitals and health care providers invested in using IV devices
