Hi Paul, I see what you mean regarding interleaving the command's echo with the reply. I should add that I dropped the baud rate from 9600 to 1200 on the Fluke 45 in a bid for better results. It didn't occur to me that that my exacerbate the problem when echo was turned on on the Fluke 45
