Thank you so much Garry. I will definitely buy the meter.

Hi Frankie
The ohm meter goes between the batteries and one of the sliver wires. Make
sure you switch it to mA before you connect it to the batteries
Thanks Garry. You've given me something to think about! I must say I'm a
bit flummoxed. I'm just your average housewife type person who can't
remember a sodding thing I learned in chemistry, except the bunson burner,

Thank you Kathryn. I've had some great advice on here. Sounds like I'm
gonna have to get some kind of meter reader or something.

Try a small crock pot. Heat acting as the supplemental or additional conductor.
Insert your jar of distilled water into the crock pot in lieu of a stirrer or
fish tank bubbler. I found unfiltered air to be a solution contaminant.

So, do you put it in the crock pot turned on with nothing else in the
crock pot? Will that crack the pottery?
I use a margerine lid with the silver wire poking through the top to
cover my jar, and that keeps the dust out. It also keeps the wires in
place pretty good.
Heat does seem to work
I have a small inexpensive $6.99 crock pot that I was using for making
aromatherapy products. I fill the pot 3/4 to the top with water, wait until it
heats and put into it my covered jar with distilled water. The crock pot
maintains a very steady, low heat and never reaches boiling point.
I'm saving up for a quality CS generator. In the meantime, I've rigged up a
home made generator using four 9v batteries. I also need to buy a ppm
reader, as I have no idea what I am producing.
Anyway, here's the question. I followed the instructions from the
silvermedicine website:
= 3.6Ma
36v @ 15Kohms = 2.4Ma
Here's an ohms law calculator

I think that depends on the surface area of your electrodes among other
things like their spacing and the voltage used in the ohmmeter.

due to silver area/distance/water volume, which surprised me. The
variation would be on the order of 5-10
