I bought the $99 distiller too. By coincidence, this wholesaler is located only a few miles from my home. Neighbors and co-workers bought from this vendor and are pleased. I intend to catch rainwater and distill it, to avoid residues and/or volatiles from hard, chlorinated municipal tapwater. The

Since getting my generator I have made about 4 quarts CS. I have 2 different brands of true DW. One that I made a batch from yesterday and today. Yesterdays batch I transferred into a amber glass bottle that a friend had sent me (her home brewed CS) and I have had previous batches of my CS in it.

I found that using Kleenex brand tissue, others may work differently I don't know, is better than using paper towels. The paper towels shed more and I had more yellow batches. With the Kleenex there is no shedding and no yellow batches. On the distilled water why not buy a counter top distiller
