I downloaded Netscape 6 and all went well until the final step.
I downloaded the netscape-i686-ps-linux-gnu-installer.tar.gz archive and
opened it via
tar -zxvf [] and then ran the Netscape6 Installer via GUI.
The download instructions state
"4) Follow on-screen

When I cd /usr/local/netscape and run ./ netscape ... nothing happens.

I've got a Linux system with too many file handles being used.
/proc/sys/fs/file-nr reports about 7800 open files.
The 'lsof' command only reports only 600 files open.
Can anyone suggest how to track down the process or bug at fault here?
