I have courtesy of RNIB `OverDrive Media Console` an app to play talking
books. Often but not always iTunes launches itself and starts playing when
we start the talking book, both playing together is an interesting but
irritating effect! I have to close iTunes sometimes more than once before
it

Thanks, I got so frustrated with this I sat down with both computers next
to each other and tried to find out what the difference was in the accounts
and other settings to see if I could work it out.
It took me about half an hour but it turns out that there are a lot of
settings in mail pref
