I ordered a Shadow 3 from Barry a few weeks ago. I pre-ordered one and told
Barry to contact me when he was able to ship. I did have to email him a
couple times to get a response but I did get my order as promised (last
week). I figured after the fact that he was getting ready for the Toledo

Wow Chuck!
I greatly respect people with low AMA numbers. They are the one who I
believe help lay the ground work for what Model Aviation is today. It
was not you who called me a newbie as I believe you would never be one
to personally attack someone by calling them names.

John,
I rejoined AMA
back in 1995 and had a 6 digit number. I was originally a member in the
early 1970s, and I rummaged through some old airplane photos and found my
initial AMA number. I wrote a letter to the AMA, stating that I wanted my
old number, and they granted my request. Life

One thing I noticed while looking at the Thermal Monster/Ukrainian Buzzard
is that the batteries, servos and RX are included for $40 more than an AVA. Now Thats a deal! I have no connection with the seller,

Had a nice wind blowing in the morning so I loaded up the

OK, those of you who fly PCM - what's your preference on fail safe
settings (Hold Last Input, or Preset)? My inclination is to have
everything return to neutral except maybe rudder to 1/8 - 1/4 throw or
something.
Don't want to ignite a debate on why PPM is better...presume the
decision on
Opinions vary...
Fail Hold (last input) is what I do for my unlimited models.

I set it to full crow. As a slope racer, most of my flying is fairly close
