All,
SE Modeler Magazine has a few fuselages and kits left in stock that we want
to blow out. As a result, we will sell all at our cost, without shipping
costs from Germany.
The fuselages and kits we have in stock are:
1/3 scale ASW-27 Kit
1/3.6 scale L-Spatz Kit
1/3 scale Elfe S-4A Fuselage
It would seem to me that it would have been simpler
and possibly safer to require attaching a parachute of some minimum diameter to
any object made of metal or weighing more than a few ounces. If the line breaks
or the device (stake) comes loose the parachute will quickly dissipate the
I am looking for Acad, DFX or accurate 3-view scale profile drawings of the
P51 and or ME-109. I would like to make templates to cut epp for a slope
plane. Anyone know where I can obtain these files or drawing.
Thanks

Having someone build their own ships for them, you mean?
Now wait a minute! One of these guys shaped his own fuse plug, pulled a nose cone mold
and fuse mold, shaped and molded an inner
nosecone mold. Used these molds to build his own fuse. This same guy bagged his stabs,
bagged his rudder.
That's why you do a trial run on the table and adjust accordingly(you cut
that part off!).

Here is my page with the last 2 DLG's built, including peg pictures. BTW, a
peg is a non-retractable asymmetric wingtip spoileron :)

Hi Gang,
It looks like I nmay have to be in the Ontario CA area between 5/9 and 5/13
and was wondering how close this area is to some of the slope sites such as
Parker, Cajon, Vincent, etc. I would probably have time on Saturday and
Sunday to fly. Any help on this would be greatly

A pal of mine recently got a batch of used RC gear for free and is sorting
through it. I'm playing the role of mentoring him into the hobby, mostly
glider, maybe a little electric.
Included in this rather nice haul of planes and gear is a JR X-388S radio,
not used in at least a year.

I just got off the phone with the manufacturer and the
prices for 'rubber ducky' antenna are going up. I'm allowed
to make one order at the old price. So, if you want a
rubber ducky antenna at the old price of $24 for non ball
mount, or $20 for ball mount, please contact me ASAP. I'll

to bag some wings and this local yoko tells me there's a smoother side
to it. I cant see or feel the difference. Does anyone have any information
on this.

So what's your point? You didn't use any balsa ribs, you didn't use any
covering like silkspan, tissue or monocote. The wing probably isn't bent
in the middle and doesn't have any saggy areas between the ribs. How can
you say you build your own planes when you haven't done any of those

Lots of interesting comments concerning the rule (or proposed rule
change?)
I think it will be something we will have to address. Go with the flow!
