I don't consider myself an expert on film covering, but have discovered a
few things that work, so I'll pass them on.
An early lesson to use only Monokote. It has a nice aroma and when shrunk up
has a neat ping sound when lightly wrapped. It can end up tight as a drum
and tends to stay tight, but
When I fly my normal frequency, 50 Mhz - channel 09, I don't get any
aileron-rudder coupling in reflex mode. If I change the frequency module to
72 Mhz - channel 40 and use a different RX I get aileron-rudder coupling in
reflex mode. I'm using Airtronics RX and Futaba RX in 50 Mhz and Futaba RX
Just use UltraCote! it is much easier to work with than monocote.

Stick down with iron not quite hot enough to cause shrinkage, trying to
keep everything as tight as possible. Shrink with an iron, with as much
heat as you can use without causing melting problems. Do tests on
samples first. Use Monokote, though as I recall Ultrakote is almost as
easy to use.
Use Ultracote or Oracover it goes on those type structures much better than
Monocote.

Thank you Mark, I had a great time! It was a pleasure to meet you in

If you've read this forum much, you've probably heard that running an

It was a great contest and the thing that made it great was that all of the
contestants were of a mind set to have a great competition. Not once did I
see a contestant loosing it (and a couple could of had reason). They put up

I've been trying to raise Craig Greening to purchase some of his JR368
mounts, but don't get any reply to my e-mails. Anyone know if he's still
offering them? Have an e-mail address other than [EMAIL PROTECTED] that
works?
