On the Autodesk EU store, select Softimage, then fill in the Product
Configuration, and it will display an Add Subscription box:
Autodesk Softimage Subscription (1 year)(add 1.023,50 € / 890,00 € ex. VAT)
That's on a new standalone license. I think it would be the same for a
network license.
Maybe something is wrong with your browser, I checked the link above and
got the Softimage price: 3795€ (once i filled the details) and the year
subscription cost as separate: *1023.50 €*

..there is an option to just bake the cam(s) to a new cam, but to have
all my ducks in order I'll need to bake the point clouds first as well..
which is good if I want to time warp sections of the scene including
the cached ICE. Thanks for the input.

Can anyone offer a suggestion how to achieve this?
Just a simple matte on an object where another one is intersecting, so the
surface inside the volume is white, outside is black. The volume itself
would be hidden.
The geo isn't very dense, someone here suggested generating a wieghtmap via
ICE,
There is a handy booltrace shader by Alan Jones on http://rray.de/xsi/
That maybe sounds similar to what you are looking for

on the material you want to have generate the matte, use a rayswitch to
make refraction and transparency rays white, all others black (or a
different color for each, whatever you need). Then make the other object
100% transparent with a refractive index of 1, and turn off its
shadow-casting
Ahh thanks Ed, that's exactly what I was looking for.

A pretty comprehensive pricelist can be found here (for Germany only):

It might still give you good idea what to expect for other EU countries,
roughly.

Big fan of Lastpass here and no, not getting that.
Do you get it consistently, Paul? Were you by any chance browsing

perhaps?
