I, for one, feel a web-based interface is the way to go. No need for a
separate "app" for everything, and with HTML5
The reason for a web-UI is obvious for many reasons .
The LMS server in many cases does not have screen and keyboard and is
accessed from another machine via the web browser .
And even if the server runs on computer with keyboard and monitor , you
migh want to control with another computer on

Have a look at the Playlist Manager von Phil Meyer. It "Provides
functionality to add songs or albums to and chosen playlist." It's
actually hosted by pippin.

We upgraded the OS on a Mac to Mavericks and now I cannot get SLM to see
the player. The server starts and runs and I can operate the player via
webremote and so on.. the server just can't see/find the players. Ideas?
