I installed LMS on a new separate W10 box and I'm seeing the same issue. LMS works fine when first installed and the music library is configured. Then I start setting it up to suit my system and preferences and it falls down. I just did a clean re-install and its working. I'd like to backup

I've noticed that since I have updated to LMS 8.0, Spotty initiates new database scans whenever Spotify is started. Is this normal? I use the automatic rescan to do a full rescan every morning at 1AM. I don't see an option for Spotify scanning, am I missing something?

The file should be called favorites.opml - what you found is the Perl source code for Favorite module. The favorites.opml file will be in the LMS preferences folder - look at WebUI Settings/Information for the location of the preferences folder on each of your systems.
