Is it better and easier to stream to PCM or FLAC from a my Spotty
streaming Ogg Vorbis.
Easier loads on my network.
How do I make the changes. I cannot seem to make the change on the PCM
section of Ogg Vorbis and Spotty.
Disabling PCM stops the playback all together.

LMS cannot connect to the internet or something like that. The Raspberry
is connedted to the internet. Any ideas?
Did you check the server.log? Did you try to restart LMS (only!)? If the
Pi indeed does have internet access, then there's little reason for LMS
not to have the same.
So, pretty clear, the web ui updates the lastActivityTime on the
displayed player and thereby prevents sleep.
What web UI are you using? Can you figure out (using the browser's dev
tools) what requests the web UI is sending?

Michael, for some reason my permissions have totally been jacked up and
I don't know how. File Sharing is having major problems and, as I've
mentioned previously, System Prefs seems to hang all the time.
Fortunately I have a TimeMachine backup I'm restoring from Nov 1 when I
KNOW everything

Actually @mherger I copy pasted the response from @dlandon from Unraid
forums.
His argument is that an upgrade
Yup, it's all about permissions... not sure how that changed in the
middle of the night but I'm working on it. Thanks!

May not be needed, after all! The Material Skin enhancement was already
implemented (for future release) by storing the state. So at least for
me, this request is deprecated. It might still be an improvement but
I'll leave that choice to the esteemed creators where it belongs. :D

OK, looks like that might be what's happening. I put the logging back
into the PreventSystemStandby plugin and shut down the web ui.
lastActivityTime not increasing. Opened up the web ui
I suggested an enhancement to Material Skin, but to add that feature, it
would require a change to the DSTM implementation. The change seems
like it might be worth implementing? At least worth asking the
question.
Currently for DSTM, there is one setting which selects the mix type
and/or
I am running my LMS on a Raspberry using pCp. This morning erverything
worked fine. Then the outside temperature was not displayed any longer
on the screensaver. After that I had no radio any longer. Before i
rebooteted, I noticed that my LMS was on 8.3 now. I was on a previous
version before. I

The Windows server itself sometimes has a browser running which could be
using the web ui, so if that was the issue then it could wake up and
then keep itself awake. But can the web ui keep the server awake? I'm
Yes. See the links I provided. A web UI polling for player state would
probably
This is what I'm seeing... still not able to scan files after repairing
drive directory, permissions, etc. Doesn't make sense... it just
stopped working.
Maybe you should share your full server and scnner.log. But as you say
it was full of "permission denied" and the like, the issue seems
