Is it possible to stream music to Ipeng on an iPhone when I'm outside
the house?
If yes - does it exist some kind of noob setup explanation somewhere?

Thanks again!
So pCP is a Linux kind of OS?
In addition, I will also need a Linux version of LMS?
Are there other Linux type operating systems for the Raspberry available
or is pCP the

Thanks, everyone!
Tony T: I'll have to order a Raspberry PI then. :)
Is there a lot of speed difference between the B+ and the A+?
It is not an economical question, more about the B+ being easily
available here in Norway, the A+ not yet for some reason.
If the B+ will do the job, would a
I believe this will be the end of this thread.
Thanks again for all the great input!
My PC is now deemed officially dead after running almost 24/7/365 for
6-7 years.
I have posted a new thread asking for help setting up a Raspberry Pi

Hi!
I posted a thread a week or two ago where I asked for help in turning my
old, no longer Windows "compatible" PC into some kind of LMS server.
Well - after doing some tests, my computer savvy son tells I can forget
about the PC. I it dead. It won't even boot from a Linux USB flash
drive.

Sorry - My intention was kind of to ask if Daphile allowed for this.

Could not sort any other way to subscribe to the thread already posted.
Only reason for this reply.

I have been a happy LMS/Squeezebox/Ipeng user for 6-7 years. The system
has been running on the same Windows 10 64 bit machine all this time.
Since the october 2018 windows update the pc has refused to boot.
I have started thinking about turning the pc into a dedicated media
server. I dont

I hope this is not the wrong group to ask this question.
I like to play my music chronologically and as entertainment when
listening is not my main activity I like to use the "Play all" function
to have music running for hours.
I am normally using IPeng to control the LMS and asked this question

Obviously not! (Blushing again - must be early for me still)
I've started a new scan. Will take about 30 min.

Yes. English Windows and english software but norwegian keyboard. It's
too difficult to have to translate everything from norwegian
to english and back every time you

Sorry - I don't understand - it even took me a lot of time

No artists, albums etc. in LMS Web UI :-(
I
I updated LMS from 7.7.5 to 7.8.1 today.
Problem - although the Control Panel says I have almost 35000 tracks of
music - none of them are visible from ipeng or the Squeezebox Duet
controller unless I open the music folder and choose the music there.
Artist, Genre, Year etc. lists are all empty.
