Hi everybody,
I am having the same problem with my transporter and two boom player.
There are two touch Radios and several sb radios that do not have this
reconnecting problem. I can not find anything suspicious in the logs
-while using the latest server version 8.3.
It does not matter if either t

I am having the exact same issue with a SB Boom. The touch is fine.
However on the latest LMS version (8.2.0) running out of a Docker
container on a Synology this issue is present.
The touch automatically reconnects. The SB Boom does not. Very
frustrating.

OK after more testing today. I factory reset (Plug in while holding +
key, waiting for factory reset text); added the player to MSB account,
confirmed that was working, re-selected LMS as the source, and after
restarting LMS the player still comes up with "can't connect... press

I run LMS without any mysqueezebox.com options. BUT the Booms (and some
other players) still have the ability to connect to msb. LMS doesn't
seem to

Yeah, that option shouldn't matter. But yes, something is odd. A
mystery for sure.

I tried setting (in LMS) mysqueezebox.com Integration to "disabled, do
not keep player settings in sync" and then restarted the LMS, and the
players still couldn't reconnect.
But always, hitting left arrow on the player will bring up "connect to"
(my LMS name) and then pushing the knob reconnect

Server on fixed IP. The devices even know the IP and name of the server
after you hit the "left to go back" and select the LMS.
I'm thinking this more has to do now with mysqu

No help, but just a datapoint. With LMS 7.9.1 thru 7.9.3, I can report
that my Boom, Transporter, Touch, Radio all connect automatically to the
correct LMS after a reboot of my server (or just a restart of LMS). I
do this often at my weekend cottage, as the server, modem, router, etc.

Yes I had the same issue with 7.9x as well.
Do the Booms have to be connected to msb to function properly? They've
now had the MAC addresses removed from msb but I'm still seeing issues
where they won't reconnect after the LMS is restarted.
Tomorrow I'll try and add them to an account, to see i
There may be more than one issue at play.
My SBR used to lose LMS if the IP address of LMS server change after
DHCP "refresh" or perhaps a system restart/reboot.
I'd first make LMS server IP address static or if using DHCP reserved so
it doesn't change.
This would eliminate one possible source

Sometimes they'll just say "Left to go back. Requires LMS 7.2 or later".
Going back and clicking will find the server again.
Ouch!... I know that the Radio firmware has a bug about the version
checking. But I hadn't heard about oth
At a minimum, you should first get these players removed from the prior
owners mySqueezebox.com account.

I've been running into an issue where some of my Squeeze Booms and Duet
Receivers lose connection to the LMS when the LMS is restarted. This has
happened both with 7.9 and 8.

Sometimes they'll just say "Left to go back. Requires LMS
