On further testing it looks like there are issues streaming some of the
Tidal canned playlists as well. Skipping some songs, others incomplete.
Could you please give me some tracks' IDs (click on the title in the web
UI). It's somehthing like wimp://123456.flac.
And PM me your tidal user
This "How To" represents my efforts to do exactly what you want and I
had very little Unix / Linux expertise when I did it. Others have been
able to update it for the later versions of the FreeNAS OS and the
issues related to Perl. My brother recently built a server based on the
latest FreeNAS

With a Tidal account you have the ability to save to a personal music
directory albums of your choice and create your own playlists which can

Historically an important feature for many users is the paradigm that
lms never writes to the files , i bet many users mount the music files
read only...
You want the replaygian tags to be writen to the files ?
I understand this pow , lms runs 24/7 if it had funtionality that did
ocadionally
When upgrading a working 7.9 nightly to a new one, can one safely assume
CPAN modules are not needed or do 7.9 nightlies change PERL dependencies
often?
When installing the update on top of the existing instance, then yes, it
should just work. We did update some of the CPAN modules in the
I have a large amount of playlists in spotify. I like spotify :-) The
list of playlists in the standard spotify plugin is limited. (500?
1000?) Is it possible to make it unlimited?
Technically it would certainly be possible, but not easily. The problem
is that they wouldn't give us more than
and it has worked perfectly until now. I get the same behavior using the
Tidal app or running Tidal as a service with ickStream. Tidal streams
perfectly on my mobile app or directly to my pc.
Thanks for that info. Good to know. I'll see whether I can get hold of a
Tidal person. Unfortunately
I, like many people it seems, use foobar2000 to apply replay/track gain
to my media. However this is far from convenient. Would it be possible
to have an LMS plugin to do the calculation on new media added to LMS
automatically? If so why has it not been done?
