You're right RG. I was saying to use the regular Windows installer, not
the WHSv1 .msi installer.

I tried to upgrade to the new 1.05 version.
First I uninstalled the previous verison from Appcenter, made a reboot.
Manually installed the 1.05 version.
I got a few "warnings" stating is was still up Upgrading.
At the end I got a warning:

it appears as if as of now (2018-01-16, 20:40 CET), mysqueezebox.com is
down (at least it's not responding from Switzerland). I can confirm
that, if I VPN into the US, I get a different server, which works. So
far, not so great.

To clarify my question, I am looking at the solution to use it on
Windows Server 2016 Essentials, did someone test the Standard Windows
version install on Windows Server (very different from Windows Home
Server).
