Time has come for me to update from Win 7 x86 to Win 10 x64. Going from
x86 to x64 I can't do an "upgrade" so it will be a clean install. I
plan to image my existing Win 7 system onto a larger SSD leaving a

Inguz runs everything through a filter, so all formats need decoding on
the server. I have mostly FLAC and MP3, but also a few M4A and OGG.
LMS filetypes are set to disabled for Ogg "Native" and instead play
using "sox" (see below). This is similar to the settings for other

Pretty sure that device is only a player. You may be able to hack LMS
onto it, but not without some linux skills. You can run LMS very
effectively on a Raspberry Pi 4B-4GB and point it to any music library
on your network. Easy instructions can be found at piCorePlayer site.
Does it show up on your Plugins tab as loaded? Note that this plugin
has a "per player" setting: Settings > Player > Remove Played Songs >
[X].

Logitech Media Server (formerly Squeezebox Server) offers no means of
deleting files from your drives. You'd need to do this using your OS
file management app. Alternatively, if the files you wish to delete are
in their own partition, you could reformat that partition.

Port opening on "Home Network" is what you want; you don't want LMS
accessible from the internet or you'll get hacked.
Easiest way to rewrite all LMS port rules is to just reinstall LMS.
Install it into same location on PC and all settings will be
maintained.

No need to go all "doomsday" over the 2004 feature update. It installed
fine for me. This behavior is something new for Chrome and its Edge
sibling. I noticed the blue checkboxes in LMS on Chrome at least a week
ago. The black focus boxes are new after today's Win update, however.
Since updating to Win 10 2004, latest version Chrome now puts black
focus lines around many selected elements. "Search" shown below and
also noticed the same effect when selecting transport and volume
buttons.

I am running latest Chrome (v. 81.0.4044.122) on Win 10 x64 with
JavaScript enabled. I also believe the appearance of this warning is
new; I haven't changed anything in years other than regularly updating
Windows, Chrome, and LMS. I am using the "Default" skin.
Sometimes when I refresh LMS in Chrome I see a message briefly flash by
at the top of the screen. It's not there long enough to read it, but I
think it says something about getting a new browser that is compatible
with LMS. I have the latest Chrome on Win 10 x64 so this shouldn't be
an issue.
