Can you instal Docker on your Synology NAS? If so you can run an LMS container within Docker. It works perfectly - no need to rely upon Synology’s versions any more :) HB 1 x Duet, 3 x Yamaha Restio, 3 x Radio, 2 x Touch with iPeng 9 served by Synology DS2419+, Docker and LMS 8.2.0

I have already applied the firmware recognition patch to all three of my Radios but LMS is reporting the following: 30242 I have double checked that the patches are still installed and all are working fine so I assume it's just a bug in LMS and I can ignore it? I am running pinkdot's LMS

Synology do not include LAME in their LMS package citing licensing issues. However, as part of pinkdot’s re-compile and clean up he includes LAME. Check if there’s a newer build from pinkdot as it will likely be included. If not then ask in his Synology thread and I’m pretty sure he’ll compile

Thanks for the replies. Server IP is the same and the players are physically set to control themselves rather than another. I’ve tried resetting too - same result. Players say they can’t see LMS but I can send music to them via LMS on a browser or iPeng. It is really odd - never experienced
