So you have LMS on the windows PC. Install the Material Skin plug in. Point any browser at http://winpc-ip:9000/Material. Configure settings as required. Strange ... got one update notification yesterday, but none today for latest. Now, checking for update manually in Advanced - Software Updates reports when an update is available. Looks as if the auto settings do not stick. Can I do anything to fix this? or is it a case of install again from scratch? I find fade-in unnatural for library albums, tracks ... however, I think it's an ideal candidate for radio streams (where it's often more used by stations themselves). Same issue affected LBC in December - took Global/Tunein over A month to fix ... Classic FM Nederlands is better - not so many ads! Recently the German stations (SWR 1 and NDR 1, maybe others) have changed their station logos. Since the change, the artwork (logo and track art) no longer fit the Controller screen correctly. The images seem marginally too big. This is only apparent on the Controller screen. Could somebody else test this? SWR1 and NDR1 are on Tunein. ps: is there any way to discover what actual size the images are? I stumbled across an old Chromecast audio in a box of tangled wires ... I set it up again (and accessed it via the chromecast plugin) Excellent. I pushed the audio out to a mini Avantree Priva iii aptx BT transmiiter. Sounds great on all the bt headphones I've tried. The Priva has an extensive range so there are no dropouts. The Avantree transmitters are really good - The Priva (39 USD) is a small round disk but only has 3.5 mm input. The Audikast (49 USD) has an additional optical input. 5-10 dollar discounts are often available. Suspect it's down to DR metadata. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Live stream artwork WOES - again
After a router reboot yesterday, all the live stream logos/artwork are messed up - just display the empty frame. This is with the LMS gui. The logos do display on the Touch screen. I've rebooted everything, tried different browsers on different PCs - still messed up gui display. Any ideas? LBC UK - metadata displays current show playing Play SWR1 - gui displays the metadata correctly ... for about 5 secs, then the artwork (eg. station logo) is replaced with the artwork from LBC UK. Other stream details are correct. Only occurs with mp3 streams. Baffled. Any ideas?
