I wld rescan the library -- cldn't take that long ! And let LMS do rescans overnight, if you update content regularly ... Do it overnight if you have a HUGE many-TB library .. mine is under 2T, and just moved to a newer LMS server. Scan took under 1 hour...the library itself is on a NAS..

As an aside, to move from a pi II to an IV, what files would I need to copy to the new machine in order to retain MSB, Spotify and last.FM credentials? A new scan is fine, but I'd rather not have to find the above settings, as the installation is at a buddy's place and he's likely forgotten

Well you guys have opened my eyes to the Raspberry Pi 4, seems to be the better solution for me rather than a new PC. Is this one good for me to start with? I know nothing about them at the moment, going to start digging into the whole process.
