It's progress to know it's the plugin code not the server. Thanks for
checking that. I'll now head to the correct post!

I don't use Soundcloud so I looked at the plugin code and there is no
support for seeking. Then I noticed last post on associated thread.

I know this is about mysqueezebox.com, but I'm finding that some mp3
podcasts on LMS allow me to fast forward and some don't. Is there a way
tweaking things? I've discovered that I can time shift mp4 files stored
on my network to my Radio if I specify transcoding to FLAC. Transcoding

My guess is that you end up connected to different servers, running

Maybe a problem with my router. It is a fritzbox, and in some o

Cautiously I wan't to report, that since last friday or saturday ff
works again flawlessly.
I tested several streams/podcasts and all worked fine. Including the bbc
podcast that bpa suggested.
Dont know why or what happened.
Can you confirm?

Not all Podcast sources support the "byte-range" HTTP header which
enables ff/rew - so to be sure tests need to be carr
Another weird behavior which I could observe while testing:
Saved https://images.singletracks.com/podcast/summer_updates.mp3 under

Then I used the relevant feed

You are right. Problem not solved.
If I use your bbc-podcast it does not work. Also many of my usual
sources for streams don't work with timeshift/FF.

Since today (at least) things have changed and evreything works fine as
it has done until some weeks ago.

Thank you for your explanations. Indeed my selected podcasts should be
mp3s which support the forward skip. Why? Because it still works when
I'm adressing these via a locally installed LMS. It also worked fine
with mysqueezeboxcom, until it stopped recently.
I did a test and saw the same issue.

Thank you for your explainations. Indeed my selected podcasts shpould be
mp3s which support the forward skip. Why? Because it still works when
I'm adressing these via a locally installed LMS. It also worked with
mysqueezeboxcom until it stopped recently.

all sources do as they expect download complete files and not stream

Post the name of the podcast so others can try it. Is this true with
