moment for the Subsurface maintainers to create more recent AppImages,
I should give the "AppImage with everything" idea a try, since it is really
not much work to create or update such image

Thus I needed to add --allow_run_as_root to my "AppRun" manually.
(The "unshare -r" is required to allow unprivileged users to "chroot"
into the user mounted union filesystem on the target system.)

e numerous components required in Subsurface 4 that
are incompatible with the very old glibc shipped with CentOS 5,
I tried that once.
It probably would be feasible only if AppImage allowed to also
include the old glibc, but it's probably not worth the effort.

Hi,
good news, these patches fix the CSV export for me, thanks!
The export is surprisingly slow (~ 10s on a Core i7) for
~500 dives, but it's nothing that one does so often to make
this relevant.

covering all possible work flows, yet. This could use some testing.
