There are a lot of 'classical' sundials
Tomorrow is the equinox (at least for my longitude), and today I took a
time-lapse movie of the beams of light crossing at Kate Pond's Odyssey of Light

(In the same way that civilisation arised in Thebes, it has resurged -or
resurges now- in Paris).
Do you know the date of this inscription? I think the words Levant and
Nord has been carefully chosen

It actually should say:
Au levant, du Barbès (on) surgit à Paris Nord
