We did not test it on VPN networks yet and we are using the same version
as Steve is:
Firmware Revision = 3.1_32,REV=2005.08.24.08.55
So, to me it looks like it is getting better but it might not be perfect
for VPN yet.

running.
Are you running 3.0 or 3.1? What version of Linux?
