Seems to be a bit of a bug or querk with carp setup. Setup your 1 to 1 nats first then add carp before you add any port forward rules. It seems that if there is anything in the port forward rules before this it gives the error you mention. I have seen a few people with this issue.

Seem to be having a continueing problem with this. Mini httpd is running but there is the maximum number of instances running. Even though I can confirm I have only been connected for a few minites. Netstat then shows about 50 connections from my ip to the pfsense box on the https port.
