The virus scanner is likely in the loop. But due to other problems over the last couple of months its not likely to be the fundamental cause. Neither Windows nor the scanner have been updated in the relevant period. This system is not worth the time. The replacement hardware is a foot away and

Logging into Netflix with seamonkey caused it to go mad. Eventually it said unresponsive script but it was locked up swapping mad for a while. Netflix doesn't work with seamonkey anyway but you can at least look at what's available on there. Does anyone else have the problem?
