Using SM 1.1.18 and XP home and for the past few days I have been
getting the following message when trying get my mail:
could not connect to server pop.att.yahoo.com the connection was
refused. This will happen for a short period of time and hour or so
later it will start working for whatever

Just updated to SM 2.0 and now when I am doing work other than
mail/internet (SM not on) SM will start by itself. I remember having
this problem some years ago with SM 1.x.x and was able to change some
setting, but having a senior moment and don't remember where or what to

Since I installed SM 2, my newsgroup keeps asking me for my user name
and password. The user name I know, but the password was never a part of
the sign in procedure. Below is the newsgroup and I was wondering if

It was really annoying using SM2.0 it kept asking for a username
password for email accounts. ugly.
I went back to, didn't want the hassle that SM2.0 brought with it.
Trying to watch a video on SM 1.1.18 without success. Tried FF 3.5.6 and

Yesterday my news.eternal-september.org newsgroup had a problem. When I
open the newsgroup and click on a subject, it ask if I want to subscribe
to the newsgroup. Using SM 1.1.18. Have no idea where to start or who to
contact if there is anyone to contact.

Recently when I try to print an email and I hit 'print' and then I get
the small screen asking how many copies, etc, I hit the 'OK' and it
would print. Now for some reason (?) after I hit the 'print' I get the
screen but it is in the lower right section of the email screen and the
'OK' button

My printer just started printing out in very very small print. I would

As a follow-up to clarify my problem, I have a file that I will call
'sent emails' and it was getting very large and I clicked the 'compact

, my memory recall is not what it used to be. I did
remember that a process (Skmail) in the task manager could be deleted
and it would take care of it for the session until another power on
sequence. Hopefully someone can remember or recall what I can't.
