If menu, check Edit, Preferences, Preferences Toolbar, Options, and make sure the first item is selected. If toolbar, look under View, Show/Hide. Give me a break - I'm 65 and can't remember where I put my damned glasses! get checked out for Alzheimer's or dementia I haven't saved my profile for agesyes...I know...I should save it every week or so. I obviously pressed F8 for some reason and didn't notice the toolbar leaving. Nice to know. Now, having seen the newer version.crap. Best not mess with it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The old version works fine. You mean that your not one of those folk who backup your SM Profile Files every 10 days or so? I remember now that someone here advocated doing that very thing - often! Found the file on my Hard Drive - July '07 I can re-install it - but how could it just disappear?
