Just tried to install v0.7 on windows 2000, and am having problems.
I already have freenet 0.5 installed, which I want to keep running, but
while I was installing 0.7 (to a different directory), it was stopped.
Anyway, I left the installer to install everything listed, and it got

alarms indicating 100 % CPU usage, and found out it was being caused
by Freenet, so I restarted it.
Obviously it has problems when summer/winter time transitions occur.

This means that you access your node remotely, now you have
to enable the total access if
you want to be able to do everything remotely, otherwise you
are
To make it clearer, a comment from jflesch:
- Stop your node
- Edit freenet.ini (in your node directory)
- Set 'fproxy.allowedHostsFullAccess' to the same value as
'fproxy.allowedHosts'
- Do the same for 'fcp.allowedHostsFullAccess'
- Restart your node

the wrong thing - doh!), and I've got the following error:

I have these all the time, with and without power cuts.
Delete database-X directory
and start the node... it will take a long time, but it will
rebuild it.

Is there any reason for so many .\s as it looks weird?

If you mean v 0.7, there seems to be SSL Support built in.
If you look at the web config screen, there are various SSL sections, but I
get an error when I try and activate this.
I'm guessing I have to generate the certs etc myself, but I haven't had
time to look into it yet.

Sometimes Frost has taken a while to start up for me too, but I don't know
why.
This mainly happens if I haven't used it for a few months.
One thing to check is if there is a dialog box warning you about old
versions of keys (I wondered why Frost wasn't starting, and this was buried
behind loads

even though freenet seems to be running fine.
At the moment I've got 31,935 files in my freenet temp directory, all of
which have been created in the last two days and my node has been up for 1
day and 4 hours.
