noticed the same thing on a 486dx2/66. I had SuSE 5.3,
and setup went pretty quick. Then I put SuSE 6.0 (install
from scratch) and it bogged like an old 386.
I don't think it's an interrupt anywhere. After the
system rebooted, it worked fine, if not just a bit
slower than before.
