i dont believe they do, i mean they could, but why do both Adobe and
macromedia send employees to the SVG WG

We agree .
A number of large chemical companies are using some of our SVG-based
technology to deliver dashboard information from SAP and plant
applications to users. At present, we do all of the SVG
" SVG
capabilities on the browser client. But nevertheless, SVG is in there!

SAP is a good market to work in because SAP is dug in deep in many large
companies with *BIG* SAP budgets. I haven't done it before, but i understand
that SAP expose their APIs to .NET and Java providers, so if someone wanted
to there's no reason why they couldn't build a web based front

thanks for your response. i agree with you in some points.its indeed an
"opportunity lost" that apple decided against SVG. and its also a shame
that SAP decided for flash. and yes a few "killer apps" could sure help
promote SVG. but my point is that we cant change SAPs decission by
