Classical broadcasting in Philly has been a disappointment for all
of the time I've been here (since '83). I could never warm up to

FM. At that time, they were better than the classical options where
I'd been (Cincinnati and Buffalo...though Cincinnati's situation has
improved since WGUC and WVXU bifurcated their offerings).

bemoans the loss of classical radio stations in Philadelphia) that he

Several good choices here...
It's your best standalone approach for listening to those broadcasters
that no longer specifically target North America: Radio Australia,
BBC, DW, RNW, R. Sweden, R. Australia, RFI, etc...
