I would definitely stay above 4 gb of RAM and preferably 6 GB if you can do it.
I ran a netbook on 4 gb of RAM after uping that from 2 gb and it ran slow.
If you can go with a 13 in model, you can get better specs. I forget at the
moment what we paid for the Asus machine I now have but it's
Hi Bob,
Try Alt, release it, then F, release it, and then you should be able to use
arrow keys to make a selection.

Hi Patricia,
Please see below, since your reply to the list included what I would say is
some info you didn't intend to post here.
It's okay, though. Smile
Take care,

I have one somewhere. It had the tipical problem of something designed
to talk by a sighted person. If I recall, every time you pushed up or
down it spoke and you had to wait to go another step.

Hello, if anyone knows if digital radios are configurable by the blind,
would you contact me off list and tell me what I would need to set one

person could configure, but I don't know anymore about it. Thanks.

While in a Word 2010 document, I used to be able to hit alt F. This would give
me several choices such as Save, Don’t Save, Exit, Close, Save As.
I use the Save As to make a copy for back up or for a template.
All of a sudden, for no reason at all, the alt F does nothing.
How can I get this
try adjusting winamp while it is playing inside the volume mixer. That
gets turned down individually sometimes in spite of the arrow condition
within winamp.

Window-Eyes now respects and reads the visual lines of text that are displayed

Your last message was strange; everything was in the subject line. Could
you maximize in order to keep words from splitting? Or maybe it's just
how the story is on the "page." Sometimes in physical newspapers, words
are divided weirdly.
Peace.

My last message showed up with the context of the message mysteriously lost
somewhere in cyber space. Question, is there way to prevent words in a news
story from being split at the end of a line using FX? I'm not even sure the
words being split , are split at scilibles.

The following info from another list fixed the issue:
Start Winamp playing.
Open part of the Windows volume settings by opening the run dialog.
Hold the Windows key and type r.
Then type sndvol and press enter.
When the dialog opens, tab around and you should find a volume setting for
Winamp.
Russ, have you yet checked your equalizer's preamp settings, as well as
the system mixer settings.
For that matter, are all of your various settings in the mixer set at
100%, just to make sure that there isn't a weak link in the chain, so to
