Funny thing, this discussion came up this morning. Last night, I was
trying to smoothen certain issues with an add-on, under Firefox 55.
I did a number of searches on the net, hoping to trace some kind of a
solution for my issue. Yet what I found, was not exactly uplifting.

Interesting. I haven't noticed any new glitches with Windows updates.
Regarding Firefox? Mozilla has always been a thorn in the side of screen
reader developers. Who knows what it stems from. Probably hallucinogenics.

With Window-Eyes you can use Firefox up through version 55.03, but not 56.0.
NVDA and JAWS should work fine with these newer Firefox versions.
I don't know whether it would be productive to put a bug report into the
Firefox bug reporting system about Window-Eyes support or not.

Yep! I've noticed that everytime Windows updates that WE develops more and
more glitches. It's becoming less and less useable.
