"neutralized" in device manager, using narrator and / or NVDA, but they had to
be un-installed before I had any joy y

Oh, OK, you found the point I missed, didn't you. :)
I of course did mean the LIGHT version should be that light, that it did
not hang on the same stuff as the full version. It should simply just be
a way for the screen reader to creep out of a tight spot. In this
particular case, the way I

unfortunately, to install the anniversary update you need to uninstall
the window-eyes display driver and any freedom scientific drivers that
you have installed before it will go ahead.
thankfully the free screen reader NVDA will continue

Go into your device manager, display, and disable the display driver
associated with Window-Eyes, this will fool
. I had one
computer that was upgraded on it's own and it had both window eyes and zoomtext
installed on it.
