Hi listers,
I can't say that this happens every time I look at the contents of a
folder, but enough to where it really gets quite annoying. When arrowing
up or down through a list of files in a folder, I hear Selected item
count and size. It seems like if I press a bit hard on the up and down
What is happening is that when you just use the arrow right key, Outlook for
some reason selects the default action of opening the Excel attachment in a
preview within the message, but that preview is not accessible. As suggested,
I do the Shift Tab, then control + right arrow to move across
Hi everyone,
Something which has been troubling me for some time is that many people seem
to know certain accelerators for menu items in Outlook 2010, but these don't
speak for me even though I have the global setting to speak them turned on
and I have the proper sets installed.
An example is
Just to be clear, for my forwarded icon, here are my settings:
* Column Header name - set to none
* Column value - left blank
* Custom Value - forwarded

Thanks, that's a bit disappointing because it makes it a little more
difficult to know if you've completed reading whatever you are reading.

Hi List,
I'm currently running Win 7 on a new Dell Inspiron with WE 9.1 and a fresh
and default install of Outlook 2007.
When I forward an HTML email to my wife, (who is sighted), much of the
content, including hyperlinks and most graphics are stripped out of the
message.
Sometimes she may
I had a crash a couple weeks ago.
Had to redo all programs.
Now, WLM will not take my multiple address lists. II t always did before.
It will take the single addresses from my address book OK. But will not save my
multiple address lists into the To:, CC: or BCC: boxes.
Any ideas?
Since
I think it's meant to prevent viruses and such from being forwarded. My
husband says the same thing to me. I sometimes, especially at work, will get
prompted as to whether I want to include images or something like that when I
forward, which I do for him to see it the same way. I was just in

AT last in 2010, it's under File Options. Right or left arrow to trust
center then click the button to open the options. There is a tab on the new
dialog for attachment handling. I found the checkbox for disabling Preview.

Hi Richard,
I'm posting my reply to you back to the talk list to see if anyone else can
help as well.
If I am at my Inbox, that is, in the main window of Outlook, and press Alt-F
and then press T, that opens Options.
However, from my Inbox, if I press Alt-T or Alt-P, I get a ding.

Did anybody get an answer to Tom's question?
I'd like to know the answer, too.
Here is Tom's question:
Is the newest version 2.1.6.1022 accessible with Window-Eyes. I remember that
2.0.3
was but didn’t download it then. I am interested in updating now so I thought I
would
ask. Thanks,.

Hi Rod:
I think you are referring to the shortcut key. An accelerator key doesn't
open a ribbon; it performs an action without opening the ribbon.
BTW, ALT-p is the key-combination for Options in Outlook 2010. ALT-t
should get you a ding.
HTH.

Ray,
I've noticed the same thing and don't know the reasons for this to be the case,
but I've had some success selecting
the attachment with the shift RIGHT ARROW key rather than just arrowing to it.
Try that and see if that helps.
Best regards,

I wanted to start a new thread. So for my new laptop, what
software is more of an absolute? Which free software do you recommend to
protect my pc, registry cleaner, against malware, etc.
I'm going to have to give up my office 2007 I believe and I don't think it

Hi list,
I Just got an acer windows 8.1 laptop. It still has to be setup before I can
install WE 9.1. Just curious to get your thoughts. What kinds of software
can or should I remove for my new pc to run most optimally for Window Eyes.
Should I remove trial versions of software? Also: what
The new WE browse mode does not carry that feature, except when you page up
or down or control home or end to navigate a web page.
