Mark and all,
The file he wants to convert is a rather large file and I'll bet is a
scanned image as well. I've heard that House report is 800 pages and no
that's not a typo.
Thanks.

To Karyn's point, I've had better luck using VirtualView to OCR single pages of
PDF files.

Hi there!
Just wondered how long you have had your AMD processor? I have had an
AMD since laround mid 2012 and have experienced little or no issues with
it. I use IE, Google Chrome and occasionally FireFox. I have Windows

I'm not sure what file Larry is talking about. But I found this page:

entitled "Select Committee on Benghazi Releases Proposed Report".
The report is broken up into several PDF files section by section.
I downloaded a couple of them, unblocked them, and they read

Hey Larry,
Yes. Acrobat isn't exactly a walk in the park. I haven't even installed
it on my new system. So I can't remember the exact key strokes. But when
in single page mode it's something like Control-Page down to move to the
next page. I always set it up to read the entire document. The
Linette,
I think the problem here is that no one has clarified exactly what
you're experiencing.
When you open a message with a link you can't access do you hear the
word "link" before or after it? I forget which is the default. If you
can you should be able to tab or L/Shift-L to it and
But what if the links are too long taking up 2 lines?

Yes, I know. I copied that, that way, and pasted it into internet explorer,
but it didn't work. But for whatever reason, the message about the same
thing that was sent to the other list had a link, and the link worked. I
found that in my junk folder, for some reason. Pam.

But if the site says to click on something, that means that sometimes you
can't press enter and go to it. So what do you do then?

Maybe I'm not understanding your message, but I can read the link. I
just don't know how to access it. Are you saying that I should go to the

Yes, I know this sounds dumb. Feel free to sigh and shake your head.
Peace.

If Acrobat Reader is displaying a page at a time, you use ctrl-PgDn for the
next page and ctrl-PgUp for the previous page.

if you used a keyboard you would press enter on the combo box to turn browse
mode off then use alt down arrow to go through the list then tab to get to the
next combo box and alt down arrow for this one too. both with browse mode off.
i don't know how you would do this with brail.
Does speech work if you use the read current line hot key?

Greetings all.
Hope that the new corporate will fix the below when Window-eyes version 9.5 or
10 comes out?
My online banking site uses a combo box from within which to select a specific
payee.
When moving up or down the list with standard cursor movement keys, speech

Sorry Linette, I don't use Thunderbird. Maybe others on the list can provide

if you navigate to the link and open the context menu, you should be able to
find a command that relates to copying the link. Good luck.
OK, Curtis. I too am having trouble downloading the file. Thanks

Hello Tom,
Oh well, I have a little egg on my face on this one I'm afraid. There is
one file that indeed must be a scanned image, as in Chairman Gowdy's

it, it was reported to be an empty file, but the others appear to
