well, MSFT has indicated that WIN7 will be supported until at least sometime in 2020. I wouldn't worry too much about WIN7 going away until they first officially discontinue dropping support for VVista. And, while official support hyas vanished for xp, there are still millions of pcs out there

Having Win 10 forced on everyone ought to cause problems from Microsoft, as most people do not like being Forced to do much of anything, even when it is to be good for you. Win 7 is said to be supported until 2020, and after than it will go the way of Win XP. -- Dave
