Subject: Re: [Talk-us] US Bicycle Routes in KY, TN, AL, MS, and GA
I think Kerry's concern is about proposed routes being in the OSM db (and
renders) when no such proposed routes exist. Taking a line from wikipedia
(which I realize is tricky business), we shouldn't be doing original
research
. This is the kind
of
communication and coordination we are seeking.

This is a concern about there being no active project to develop a route but
having a route showing on OSM/OCM.
If that's the situation it seems we have a clear cut case at hand
of collaboration that will be productive for all concerned.

I can't speak to the states you've listed, but I've helped to map the

further along.

If it's showing up with an under construction or proposed status, it's
subject to change and there for approximate visualization in those cases.
If you'd like to propose a better way to handle that situation, I'm sure

All,
I am heavily involved in the development of US Bicycle Routes (see
www.adventurecycling.org/usbrs) and it has come to my attention that
OpenStreetMap/OpenCycleMap have proposed maps for US Bicycle Routes 21, 25,
80, and 84 in KY, TN, AL, MS, and GA. The routes are shown as dashed lines
