To make Window-Eyes work better with tablets, it needs to support touch
screen.

I really think people are making mountains out of mole hills. I just got
fusion for my students to learn because most of them have low vision and
this program is a combination of the best of two great programs Window Eyes
and Zoom YText. If Magic and Jaws are so great, why isn't Fs developed a
combination product like fusion? I think this makes a case for Window Eyes.
WE works well with tablets and you don't think Microsoft didn't give he
micro something for the deal for WE to be free? And why was it WE?

I've finished and will now get off my soap box.

Thats is good news too hear. I do think that window-eyes and the shark
do have similar features. What would be neat is if some of the features
in jaws could be merged in to window-eyes.

2016-12-01 Thread Butch Bussen via Talk
It depends on what going anywhere means. Does it mean anywhere as no
new updates, no new scripts, and so forth? As long as microsoft puts
it free with office, it may sort of be somewhere. Of course freedom
will take your money. I trusted gw micro, don't trust freedom.
Worse thing for them is eventually they say "we decided not to do any
more updates, here is your money back." "Thanks for the use of it
interest free." Lets be real, do you really think they'll keep two
screen readers on the market. Do you think they want to support two
different products with different features? It is what it is, and there
isn't one thing we can do about it, but it is still sad. And, why
wouldn't they sell you a new copy for $900 if you are willing.
