Yea Nelson. I knew you'd get it. Try playing a bit more of a rhythm
accent in your tremolo line. That should even you out some. And tuck
that index finger in. It'll change the angle your wrist will do the
work.

Sounds good Nelson! Also you kept a good groove going; not easy to do
when playing single notes or chords for that matter

Nelson,
If you can play that difficult a tune that well, you can jam too.
Nothing to be shy about. You'll learn more by taking chances, getting
lost, making flubs, and recovering in a jam than you do by playing
perfectly. If anyone looks down their nose at you, it's their problem
not yours IMHO.

Looks like you held out on us at Monroe camp Nelson. I don't think
that will happen again. This sounds good for the most part. Has the
bounce. The tremolo needs
for what its worth.

All,
After going to Monroe Camp this year and (again) being too shy to jam,
I came up with a multi-faceted plan to make myself get better and more
comfortable with people hearing my playing. Part of that plan is a
commitment I made to myself to post a YouTube video on the last day of
each month
Nelson, way to go. I'm new to the group and really enjoy seeing and
hearing how accomplished in the Monroe style you all are. Stick with
your plan. It's working!
