Lost 'Watch folders' in context menu
Hello all, This is not specific to RC4, the problem appeared last night after I reverted to RC2 from RC3. I have 3 Watch folders that I use to watch threads that I am interested in following in several mail list. Last night, while using RC2, I added a 4th folder and later decided to delete it. First symptom was that, after deleting the new folder, it was still available from 'Specials/Watch replies in' menu. The second symptom and actual problem was/is that, after re-starting TB, no watch folders are displayed in message list context 'Specials/Watch replies in'. See attached PNG. I can't see the list of watch folders in RC4 either, but if I revert to 3.0.2.10 they are all there. The summary: they _were_ available but after creating and deleting one, they all disappeared from the menu. The folders do exist and do work though, watching the threads that had been selected prior to this problem appearing. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: Using TAB key to rotate focus
I think that it's done this for some time. Points to note: If you are using the HTML viewer in the preview window, once the focus has moved to that window, TAB moves the focus to each hyperlink and only move to the next window once all the links have been visited. Re: Lost 'Watch folders' in context menu
Hello MAU, I can't see the list of watch folders in RC4 either, but if I revert to 3.0.2.10 they are all there. And forgot to add that this means that if I want to watch a new thread, I have to revert to 3.0.2.10 to do it. I have just found a dirty workaround. If I create a new Watch folder then I can see the 3 existing ones plus the newly created. But if I delete it, whether I do it with RC4 or 3.0.2.10, then I can' see any in RC4. RC4 issues still open for me
Hello tbbeta, 1.) Ctrl-A still does not select messages in a window if a message is not selected to begin with. (this was originally presented as a problem with Delete not working because of this, but I have played with this enough to figure out that it really is a selection problem. To see this, find a 'folder' that had been empty the last time you were in that folder (other wise it will have selected the last message viewed) but now has messages. When you 'tab' over to the message list window, the preview window should still be 'gray' with 'no message selected' displayed. Ctrl-A will highlight all the messages in the list without, apparently, selecting any messages. Delete will not be an available, option. Nor will mark as ... options, etc. 2.) There is still a mystery stop when tabbing between the three windows (Folder list window, Message list window Message preview window). At one time I had thought that it was stopping at the Message Preview window even when it was empty, but upon further investigation there is something else. Trying to tab between the Message List window and Message Preview window, there is another stop. That is: it takes one tab to get from Folder list to Message list ... and one Shift-Tab to go back. It takes one Shift-Tab to get from Preview to Folder List. But it takes two tabs to get from Message List to Message Preview ... and two Shift-tabs to go the other way. I cannot find focus anywhere in the system window. It is not on the menu or button bars or status line. It seems to be going to some window that is not displayed. 3.) Still not Alt-F12 key assignment access. This *IS* RC-4, I should expect that we should be seeing that back by now wink Other than that, things look pretty good here. -- Best regards, MikeD mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v3.5 Return RC4 w/BayesIt! 0.8.0 Release on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Current beta is 3.5 Return RC/4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

IMAP: Got worse with RC2/RC4
Hello TBBETA, I didn't think that possible, but now IMAP is worse than ever. Normally I start The Bat! find there are many new mails on the TB Beta list, click on the folder list for the TBBeta folder and if I'm lucky I get a list of all messages in that folder. Then I find a subject which sounds interesting, and I click on that one. Till RC2 this works up to a certain degree: After a (long) while the message text was shown in the message window. Now that doesn't happen most of the times. Hello 9Val, It doesn't guarantee anything so, try to play with Fine-Tune option 'Simulate folder lock'. Notice: it needs program restart to be applied. That did not help. And I found a new problem: I deleted the folder cache. That caused TB! to get a new list from the server that went rather fast (my TBBeta folder has 18268 entries in it right now), but then it starts to download the headers and that will take ages as far as I can see. For 5 headers TB needs more than 30 sec. each. And I had a problem which I thought was already fixed: I click on a mail and another mail content was shown. The mail shown was the mail I look at directly before. This happened in the extra folder view window, as the normal 3 pane layout refused to show the mail anyway. -- Regards, Raymund Current beta is 3.5 Return RC/4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Re[2]: Empty space end of list
Hi MAU On Friday, May 6, 2005 5:43:22 PM you wrote: Hello Thomas, TF I confirm that scrolling with the scrollbar shows the empty space TF again. And when I have a folder with that empty space, move to anotehr folder and then back to that folder, the empty space is gone. It's a problem with vertical scroll bars not properly scaled. It was reported many moons, I mean betas, ago and still unfixed. Perhaps this bug (and a lot of others) are classified as not important - and will be forgotten as a lot of very old bugs as well... -- Best regards, Martin [EMAIL PROTECTED] TheBat! 3.5 Return RC4 on Windows 98 4.10 A Current beta is 3.5 Return RC/4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
