Why don't I need to open ticket for beta version bug?
Isn't here we need to write that we find in a beta?

Hi George!
If you want an answer or a minimum of attention to what you wrote:
Please do not hijack a thread!

Open a ticket in Ritlabs Bugtracker and then post its link here with
some explanation.

This will help more and also it is a benefit for other users of The Bat!

When I close a RD session with TB running on the remote machine, and then later
start the RD session again, TB is "doing something" with the Maintenance
Centre, something that never progresses, and needs Task manager to kill it.
Stefan says it is a bug that's hard to trace.

I updated to v10.1 to be able to still use a GMAIL account and then discovered
this RD anomaly. If it's any help I have also found starting the "resting"
remote PC directly also sees The Bat! starting its maintenance tricks. What I
really want to know is if there's an intermediate version of TB! that still
supports the new GMAIL authentication, but DOES NOT have this Remote Desktop
bug?

It was me who pasted bad characters, not a mailing list software issue or
whatsoever. The correct text is the following.

[*] In an ECDSA signature, if a hash function had larger digest length (in
bits) than the field size (which is not a good practice), The Bat! treated
these signatures as invalid. It might lead to invalid ECC certificates, e.g.
signed by "sha512ECDSA" algorithm. It might also lead to the following error:
"TLS protocol error: Internal error BuildClientKeyExchange". For more
information, see section 6.4 of FIPS.186-4 "ECDSA Digital Signature Generation
and Verification": it is recommended that the security strength associated with
the bit length of n and the security strength of the hash function be the same
unless an agreement has been made between participating entities to use a
stronger hash function. When the length of the output of the hash function is
greater than the bit length of n, then the leftmost n bits of the hash function
output block shall be used in any calculation using the hash function output
during the generation or verification of a digital signature. A hash function
that provides a lower security strength than the security strength associated
with the bit length of n ordinarily should not be used, since this would reduce
the security strength of the digital signature process to a level no greater
than that provided by the hash function.

Also, on a different PC where i have not touched the customize

Further to this, I went into the Customize/Options and selected small icons in
the lower
section. When I did this the display on the bottom status bar is now correct.
The confusing part is that the icons on the menu bar remain large. I guess this
is because at the top of the customizer I have selected use Large icons
instead
of small. At the very least I think the headings in these section needs to be
changed.

I can confirm this. Status bar is twice the height of normal and the account
log
message that normally shows up is not there. If I click the middle area the
account log does show up though.

Dear Maxim,

Installed and running, gmail problem was solved for me with 9.1.10.

Starting with 9.0.6.5, the status bar at the bottom would mess up (not
sure what triggered it), with 9.1.12 it is that way from TB start.
Check screenshot.
When the toolbar customize window is open, the status bar is changed
to the normal height, but still does not show any text.

Hi maxim

The following problem has existed since at least 9.1.6.3 & still persists in
9.1.10
It was OK in 9.1.6 (don't know about 9.1.6.1 & 91.6.2)

When minimizing to the tool tray the menu bar is not displayed/repainted on
restore in the window.

This works OK when minimizing to the task bar.

Also the menu bar repaints if I open a pop-out windows such as opening an
Email and then close it

I don't know if that is an "important" addition. Anyway, as long as I
can still use my "yellowish icons" for folders, etc., it is fine with
me.

All running fine.

I dislike the dark-blue of the account postbox. And small icons in
tree are not really recognizable for me.

Maxim, i would like to get the open OpenPGP bugs fixed in 9.1.x. Please do

It worked, but was still dissassociated (The Bat started when you

Dear Andrei,

I can confirm that - after installing 9.1.4_x64 over 9.1.2 the pinned icon in the taskbar became invalid.

It is weird, because when I installed 9.1.2 over 9.0.16.9 the pinned icon was working (for the first time in a while).

On 32 bits I think that window has some options. In 64 bits it's
empty.

That entire window seems to be work in progress becase it's yet non
translatable and it's missing some functions it had on v8 and previous
versions like the customization of the contextual menus.

Hello Maxim,

I was able to install the current version 9.1 without
any problems.

Unfortunately, the mass mail function does not work
again now. I miss the function very much because I need
it more often. Will the function be available again?

Best regards

Maik

Dear Maxim,

Yes, I have it set from Options dialog. I also saw the bug report. The
issue is not "only" visual because it is not possible to select only
"hide" or "auto", they always are set together.
Anyway, I assume this will be fixed at some point.

It should be the radio-group (one option only selected, mutually-exclusive),
not the check boxes. In the meanwhile, you can configure it in the
"Options->Preferences" dialog box. Go to the General tab, and you will see the
"Display Connection Center" combo-box.

I can confirm that's the case on my side. However, selecting "hide"
option indeed makes Connection Center hidden, as expected.
