How do I get the program to empty the Common trash folder on exit?
In the Common Inbox-Known's properties, I checked Empty Trash on
exit. But the Common trash folder is a folder separate from the
Common Inbox-known. Even if I drag the Common Trash to be a subfolder

But, no matter what I select from Options/Preferences/System, the
Subject keeps on auto-completing from history and this turns out to be
a PITA when you write a lot of messages every day. Does anybody know

I don't think you can... at least I cannot find a switch anywhere in
preferences. Only setting I can find is for addressing. Recently I found
the auto-complete for subjects rather useful... having to send out over
300 emails to uu.net about abuse... made life very easy ;)

I do not know if this is the best way, but it works. Right click on
the trash folder, select properties, check the following: Maximum (set
to zero), remove, and compress.

I also had a look at what could be done but could not find any
solution. The only thing I thought of was to make a program that would
save subjects to ignore by manual filter and then filter using
external program. But this is not possible :(.

somewhere safe... do a fresh install,

It worked fine, except that I had 'save attachments to a
