The msg was in his destination folder, so to my understanding it was
'read message'. Therefore I didn't see the need to mark the 'incoming
mail'.
'Refilter selected messages' is your time saving mark.

Thanks a lot, Marek. I would never have guessed it was the Spacebar!

I'm sure I must have parked them accidentally - I have no recollection
of this feature and no idea why I would have intentionally parked most
of those entries. I like the feature.

Archiving using folder-specific "alternate deletion" - cannot use for "sent mail" folder

2008-12-14 Thread MFPA
Hi

I archive the mail from some of my folders using folder-specific
alternate deletion to move the messages to a folder in a
password-protected account after NNN days.

This works well for normal folders but I cannot use this for my Sent
Mail folders as the properties dialogue has nowhere to set deletion
options.

Can anybody suggest a way to automatically archive messages from the
Sent Mail folders after NNN days, that does not involve duplicating
the sent mail folders in the tree or holding multiple copies of all my
sent messages for the NNN days?

There are several parked entries at the bottom of my Address
Autocomplete List in a new blank message in one of my accounts. These
are marked with the same "parked" symbol as identifies parked
messages. I cannot remember doing anything to create these parked
entries and can't work out how to edit or delete them. There are 13 of
these parked entries and only 3 contain current addresses. They only
feature in one account.

I would appreciate help with this, as some of the parked entries

If as I am assuming you are filtering on mail just arriving from the

On the other hand once stored in its proper place if more then one is

I searched the past thread on this subject and didn't see your name in
any of the posts so you may not be aware of what was discussed.
Although, I may have lost some of the posts due to automatic purging.
When this thread started on 11/28 several suggestions were made but
apparently no consensus was reached. I suggested the following
submitted here for your perusal:

- copy of message sent to list 11/30 -

Fellow list members,

I've been following this thread since the beginning and find it
unusual that no one has mentioned the Tiki (similar to WIKI I suppose)
for TBUDP (The Bat! User Documentation Project) located at the PCWIZE
website (http://www.pcwize.com/).

The following link will take you directly to the TBUDP page:

http://www.pcwize.com/thebat/tbudp/tiki-index.php

Since this project has already been started, it would seem that it
falls directly in line with what every one in this thread is asking
for. I've discovered that once you have registered, you are allowed to
create new, and edit existing, pages.

Would a printable manual really be necessary if one could always go to
this site for answers to TB how-to questions? And if a printable
manual is preferable to on-line help, maybe the contents of this TIKI
could be printed in some sort of hard-copy manual.

Just curious.

 end copy

I'm not sure if a Tiki tracks edits the way a Wiki does but if it's
the same, then all edits would be recorded including who the author of
the edit was.

My apologies if you've already seen this post.

Ok TB! is running again. Thanks all who helped.

Despite v3.95.6.msi produced an Error at the end of Installation I can
run TB! Sure I would be more at ease with a better version. I know
there was a change in the DB somewhere in the v4.0.x.

For now I'm interested in the following questions:
[1] what has being the most stable TB! version /before/ the
   introduction of the new DB?
[2] what is the current stable working version?

Your help is as always much appreciated - thank you
