DD I was looking over the list of macros at
DD http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/Library.html
DD but was unable to find any examples of what the final output of
DD these was supposed to look like. Several of them look interesting,
DD but without any idea of what to expect after using them, I'm
DD hesitant to try.
- - -

Agree. I think what lots of us would greatly benefit from would be
something like: http://www.immer-international.de/tb_en/index.html.

Is anyone aware of other URLs that provide the same type of detail
regarding various TB! macros?

Open All Threads On Notebook

2003-03-13 Thread Kara Denizi

G'day List

I'm using TB! on both my Desktop and Notebook computers. Within each
folder I thread messages by Reference (Alt+1].

To then view those messages I open all threads by highlighting one
of the messages and then using Ctrl+*. The * used, of course, is
the one on my number key pad rather than over the main keyboard's
8 key.

On my Notebook computer I don't have a separate number key pad.

What combination of Notebook keys should I use to open all threads
within a folder on that computer?

SS On my Toshiba, that would be 'CTRL-Fn-0' to achieve the same

Thanks, works perfectly on my Hewlett Packard too.

Thanks also for your comment on my cut mark not working. The one

Reading Header Info

2003-03-04 Thread Kara Denizi

From looking at the message header information below, how would one
be able to tell if the message was:

   1. Sent only to me, or

   2. Also sent to others via BCC?

I'm forced to ask since I don't know what to look for to determine if
2 above is correct.

Thanks.

Change Appearance of Zero?

2002-05-10 Thread Kara Denizi

What is the easiest way to change the appearance of the digit zero
so that it has a slash through it?

If it's possible, I'd like to make that change since it would be
easier for someone with poor eyesight to quickly tell the difference
between the letter O and the digit 0. I frequently need to send
groups consisting of both capital letters and digits (e.g., TY17QGM0
- Is the last character an O or a 0 -- you can see the problem).

Currently under the View tab and under the Character Set tab I'm using
None with very acceptable results other than the desired slash in
the digit zero.

Establish an account with www.yahoo.com and use their calender
feature. I find it exceptionally helpful in providing reminders, etc.
You can use that feature without getting involved in using their email

I have no idea if it's related but most of yesterday when I tried to
send messages they weren't sent. When I looked in the log I saw
this:

After checking and double checking all my settings I still couldn't
figure out what the problem was. Finally I called my ISP (Internet

their
SMTP server. They gave me a different address to use for SMTP

and that cured the problem.

Again, don't know if that's your difficulty but it might be worth
checking with your ISP.
